An ongoing investigation of various sexual encounters involving members of the department’s nightly shift resulted in the dismissal of five La Vergne police officers last week, a city spokesperson told WSMV 4. The same probe led to the unpaid suspension of three additional officers.
According to a disturbing investigative report obtained by WMSV 4 through a records request, the inquiry got underway on December 12 when Mayor Jason Cole informed the city’s human resources division about suspicions of the sexual acts.

Cole claimed to have learned from a reliable source that La Vergne Police Department officer Maegan Hall was involved in romantic relationships with other officers. Sgt. Lewis Powell, Officer Patrick Magliocco, Officer Larry Holladay, Detective Seneca Shields, and Officer Juan Lugo-Perez are among these staff members, it is said.
According to the investigation report, all of the males admitted to having secret sexual connections with Hall. Sheilds also reported that Hall gave him oral sex when they were on duty in the police department gym before they went back to their desks to conclude the day’s work.
A “Girls Gone Wild”-style party involving several policemen and their families was also included in the investigation. It took place in a hot tub on La Vergne police Sgt. Eric Staats’ houseboat. According to the complaint, Hall’s top came off and the policemen were intoxicated.
