According to press release from attorney Richard Wolfe, WorldStarHipHop has been hit with a lawsuit from rapper Rubin ‘Khaotic’ McFadden. The Miami rapper sued the website for what he called invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional stress and defamation. The website posted a 45-second video of the rapper with a female acquaintance known as Nina Allimpic engaged in sexual activity in a private room. “My client had no intention of the video being released to the public,” said Wolfe. “My clients have no knowledge on how the defendants obtained the video, as the video was only stored on McFadden’s personal cellular phone…. My client has devoted a substantial amount of time and effort developing his career, reputation, and brand,” said Wolfe. “These efforts have created considerable commercial value in his name image, identity, and persona.” The plaintiffs are seeking a jury trial to award compensation of damages in excess of $15,000.
